Thomas W. Graham DVM, MPVM, PhD
Dr Graham is President and Chief Executive Officer for Veterinarians Without Borders. He has worked in private sector cattle medicine, surgery and herd health for the past 30 years, implementing population health programs and emergency medicine on dairy and beef herds with particular emphasis in reproduction management, mastitis control, nutrition and calf rearing. He has designed and/or implemented vaccine, medical product and nutritional intervention trials in beef and dairy cattle. Dr Graham’s research interests have focussed on examination of nutritional factors underlying abnormal growth and fetal development and examination of relationships between biomarkers of inflammantion and zinc status in humans and cattle on aberrations of infant and fetal growth or mortality. Dr. Graham has been committed to veterinary education and training throughout his career and is working with VWB to promote education capacity building in the United States and internationally. He has sat on several committees reviewing program development for veterinary curricula, standards for the national board examination, as well as service committees.
